The upcoming One Piece feature film, “One Piece: Stampede,” has released a teaser.
The Straw Hat Crew is back, in a continuation of one of the longest animes in history. “One Piece: Stampede” will be the 14th feature film, set in this anime universe. According to FarEastFilms, the plot of the movie will follow Luffy and his crew attending a pirate festival. While there, they will encounter new and old enemies who are looking to take them down once and for all. Takashi Otsuka will be directing this film. In addition to this, the previous voice actors, from the anime series and other movies, will be reprising their roles.
The description for the film reads:
“The world’s greatest exposition of the pirates, by the pirates, for the pirates – the Pirates Festival. Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat Crew receive an invitation from its host Buena Festa who is known as the Master of Festivities. They arrive to find a venue packed with glamorous pavilions and many pirates including the ones from the Worst Generation. The place is electric.”
This film will debut in Japan on August 9th.
