
Born June 10th, 2000, in Telangana, India. Malavath is an Indigenous Indian mountaineer.
While attending school at the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society, she was shortlisted for ‘Operation Everest’ a summit expedition to Mount Everest.
On May 24, 2014 at the age of 13 years, 10 months and 15 days old she reached the highest peak, and became the youngest woman to summit Mt. Everest. Just 1 month 5 days older than the youngest person to summit the mountain.
She has since continued her mountaineering, scaling Мt. Elbrus (the highest peak in Europe and Russia) at the age of 17.
